Twitty & Lynn ~ Feelins'
When we started this journey five years ago, we didn’t know what to expect. People assume we grew up together, but we did not. We met at the Loretta Lynn Ranch one Fourth of July weekend not long before Memaw got sick and had to stop touring. She was doing her yearly “Remembering Conway” concert. Her love and admiration for Poppy was still as strong as it was 25 years prior when he passed. We wondered if people would get a kick out of us getting on stage and telling stories about what it was like having these two larger than life icons as grandparents. About what made them tick as artists and exactly what kind of friendship they had. We wondered if people would still want to hear those great songs. So we began the journey and 5 years later we know that the answer is a resounding yes to all of the above. There’s just something magical about Conway & Loretta that people gravitate to. It was always that way and continues to be that way. We had Memaw with us by our side and in our corner since day one. She was always there to encourage, critique and advise us any way she could. However, we always knew that the day would come when she would not be here with us anymore. We dreaded that day and always wondered what we would do. We already had our first recording session scheduled to record our original music on Oct 5th 2022 and Memaw passed the day before on Oct 4th. We thought hard about canceling but soon realized that the session is exactly where she would want us to be. Over the course of the day we recorded our original songs and had a few minutes left over, so we decided to do one for Memaw & Poppy. Everyone that heard it fell in love with it so we decided to do a video and dedicate it to Conway and Loretta. This is in loving honor of them. Not only two of the most influential people in our lives, but two of the most influential artists in the history of country music. ♥️ Tre & Tay xo Video Directed by The 10:10 Creative Song produced by Scott Baggett
