Today is the 65th anniversary of Patsy Cline's famous appearance on the "Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts" television program, on January 21, 1957, where she sang her new song "Walkin' After Midnight". She won the contest, and soon after "Midnight" became her first hit, reaching #2 on the country charts and #12 on the Pop charts. It is now one of Cline's best-known songs.
